With 1,150 participants from over 60 countries, the first edition of the ESMO AI & Digital Oncology meeting was an inspiring kick-off for knowledge sharing and building connection building at the intersection of medicine and technology.
It was great to see that AI is already transforming oncology. We’re moving beyond asking “Why use AI?” to “Where can it add value?” Real-world applications demonstrate its ability to conduct quantitative analyses and identify patterns in images that humans can’t do or only by investing a signifcant amount of time (read more on the current status and trends in digital pathology). We’re happy to be part of the progress by providing a powerful tool for pathologists and life science researchers: MIKAIA®.

Michaela Benz, Petr Kuritcyn, and Christian Münzenmayer (from left to right) gave many demos and collected lots of positive feedback. In case you’ve missed ESMO AI & Digital Oncology in Berlin, here’s the presentation of our Michaela Benz.
ESMO AI & Digital Oncology 2026 is already blocked in our calendars. Hope to see you there!
