The SME E-COMPASS data mining services assist e-shop owners in collecting and analysing business specific data. The E-COMPASS data mining services compared to other existing tools like Google Analytics or Business Intelligence Software provides such benefits as (1) the access to external market data as competitors’ product and price data, (2) a simple configuration and usability, (3) the possibility of real-time interaction with potential customers as well as (4) novel analysis functions to classify visitor, competitor and product types.
The Wiki guides users as well as administrators through the system in order to enable users to exploit the benefits of the data mining functions of the services and for informing administrators about the system architecture and function for enabling them to set-up and maintain the system.
