Members of our project team visited the turkey coops of our practice partner Kolsert KG in March. The excursion focused on the requirements for the use of AI in turkey rearing and fattening in order to support animal welfare more easily.

A veterinarian on site informed the team about causes and signs of diseases. This provided new insights into measured values, which are groundbreaking for the early detection of grievances. The subsequent workshop on the possible application of AI has established a dialogue with other farms. We hope to take this work further.
