Sören Eden is a Senior Researcher and development engineer in manufacturing technology at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES. Since 2019, Sören has led and delivered development projects focused on production engineering and manufacturing processes for wind energy applications as well as mechanical component tests. The work spans process development, industrialisation, and continuous improvement to enhance quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in component manufacturing and testing. Sören holds an M.Sc. in Production Engineering from the University of Bremen and a B.Eng. in Production Technology from Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences.
