Nadine Menzel has headed the Group Electrochemistry and Analytics at the Hydrogen Lab Leuna since 2022. After completing her PhD in chemical engineering, she first began focusing on hydrogen research at Fraunhofer IMWS and has continued her work in this field at Fraunhofer IWES. Together with her team, she is involved in optimizing components for water electrolysis as well as developing measurement protocols.
The production of green hydrogen will be a key element of the energy transition. To meet the growing demand in the coming decades, production capacities in Europe must be massively expanded.
