Critical (business) processes are specialised tasks which are of great importance for the creation of value in the organisation. [1]
The classification into uncritical, less critical, critical and highly critical business processes can be made, for example, based on known damage scenarios as set out in the protection requirements definition according to IT-Grundschutz.
