Germany
Adaptation denotes measures used to equip natural and artificial systems to survive the effects of climate change while suffering as little harm as possible. [3]
The measures cover a wide range. Some take precautions, others respond to changes that have already taken place. Some are initiated by the state, others by private organisations or affected individuals. Some occur independently, others are planned.
