Civil Protection Resources include: 
- Civil Protection Experts in central, regional or local level, who are responsible for supervising the design and implementation of civil protection plans, programs and measures, as well as for the coordination of all necessary activities.
- The government authorities, the local authorities and the utility providers, which are responsible at operational level for the civil protection activities and mainly for disaster preparedness and response (e.g. Fire Department, Coast Guard, Greek Police, National Centre for Emergency Assistance, Armed Forces, Earthquake Planning & Protection Services of the Region, the Prefecture and Counties, PPC, OTE, EYDAP, DEPA, Hellenic National Meteorological Service).
- Voluntary civil protection organisations, as well as expert volunteers, in central, regional or local level, who are included in the design of the General Secretariat of Civil Protection and are responsible for the support of preventive and restorative plans and activities, as well as activities for disaster preparedness and response).
