Combined Heat and Power (CHP)

CHP or Cogeneration, is defined as the sequential production of two different forms of energy, mechanical or electrical power and thermal, from a single primary energy source. Thus, electricity and heat are produced simultaneously from a single fuel source, both of which are utilized.
