CTS2-LE Navigator: Resolving and Displaying Value Sets

The main entry point for browsing value sets is shown after pressing the Value Sets tab:

It shows an hierarchical structure of all value sets known to the system. By pressing one value set name the corresponding page is shown:

On this page the resource URIs of the value set, a short description, and the value set definition are shown. In the example above a FHIR value set with name FHIR-vs-administrative-gender and resource URI

http://hl7.org/fhir/vs/administrative-gender

is chosen.

It consists of four codes from two HL7-v3 code systems.

In order to resolve this value set one has to press the Resolve (with existence check) button. The result page

is shown where each line contains the link to the concept details page and the display name.

In order to retrieve the FHIR-XML the user has to press the Resolve as atom button.
