In the context of production processes, deviations of the actual state from the target state occur time and again. A distinction can be made between (a) problems with a known cause, which can be remedied directly by means of a suitable countermeasure, and (b) problems of unknown cause, which cannot usually be solved in the operational business. The focus of this survey is on problems of unknown cause, for the solution of which various procedures have been established in practice.

The survey is aimed at employees, technical experts and managers, from manufacturing companies and their environment.

Please take 15 minutes to complete the survey. It contains approximately 30 questions. The survey will be conducted until 12.11.2021.

Fraunhofer IPK will prepare a study based on the survey results. If you are interested in the evaluation, please provide your e-mail address after the survey. The e-mail address will be stored in another table. There is no way to match e-mail address and answers.

This survey is anonymous.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.

If you used an identifying access code to access this survey, please rest assured that this code will not be stored together with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate whether you did (or did not) complete this survey. There is no way of matching identification access codes with survey responses.
