They are the basis for data-driven, personalized medicine and support physicians by means of intuitive decision-making tools.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imw.fraunhofer.de\/en\/research\/corp-development\/digital-health\/projects\/med-icin---medical-data-driving-an-integrated-cost-intelligent-m.html\">Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Project focus: Guideline-based modeling of economic correlations in the health sector; development of exploitation strategy<\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In the lead project, Fraunhofer IMW is responsible for the anchoring of socio economic research aspects, early considerations of the exploitation strategy of the overall project and the modeling of health economic correlations.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iais.fraunhofer.de\/en\/business-areas\/healthcare-analytics.html\">Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Project focus: Knowledge graphs and ontologies; knowledge extraction; longitudinal modeling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Our hybrid AI methods and semantic technologies facilitate the integration of domain and expert knowledge into the analysis of clinical data. This constitutes an essential prerequisite for the development of AI-assisted medical recommendation systems.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mevis.fraunhofer.de\/\">Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Project focus: Digital patient model; temporal modeling of disease progression; intelligent data-based support of diagnosis and therapy decisions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Our mission goal is the digital, integrated precision medicine of tomorrow through intelligent computer support.
