We, a team of scientists from the Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Circular Plastics Economy CCPE, have taken on the topic of odor from plastic recyclates. We are researching the improvement of recyclate quality through recycling processes that reduce odor emissions and the use of odor scavengers. Our aim is to make odorous materials optimally usable. In the survey, we want to find out more about the odor problems faced by the individual sectors and how they are already being dealt with. On the other hand, we want to find out about the need for an exchange of information on problems, solutions and the state of the art.
