Eine Testinterpretation überführt das in einem durchgeführten [[Testfall]] erfasste [[System]]verhalten in eine oder mehrere zugrundeliegende Systemeigenschaften und liefert Erkenntnisse über das System und den [[Test]], insbesondere ob zuvor definierte [[Ziel]]e, [[Anforderung]]en oder Hypothesen ganz, teilweise oder nicht erfüllt werden.

A test interpretation transforms the system behavior captured in a performed test case into one or more underlying system properties and provides insights into the system and the test, in particular whether previously defined goals, requirements or hypotheses are completely, partially or not fulfilled.
