ASE-Definition (dt.)

ASE-Definition (engl.)
The function embodiment synthesis (FES) is the term entitling the process, in which engineers define the embodiment of a system, by defining the embodiment of its piece parts. The aim is to define one embodiment, which is, together with relevant environmental systems, able to fulfill all the targeted functions of the system. In order to meet the entire system of objectives (targeted functions, requirements, boundary conditions, etc.) an iterative approach is needed in most cases.
