M.Sc. Niklas Requate

Niklas works at the IWES on intelligent methods for operational management of wind energy systems considering reliability. The systems considered can be individual wind turbines, entire wind farms, or, more recently, the coupled operation of wind turbines with an electrolyzer for hydrogen production. Niklas joined the Advanced Control Systems group in 2018 and previously completed his studies in Technomathematics at the University of Bremen. In his spare time, his great passion is soccer, as both an active player and passive spectator.
