Karsten Behnke

Karsten Behnke studied mechanical engineering at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. His master thesis deals with multibody simulation of rolling bearings. In 2017 he joined Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES as a research associate. Since 2018 he is part of the group Slewing Bearings, where he researches in the field of pitch bearing and gear box bearing damages. He is responsible for planning, execution, and evaluation of tests for these components.
