Dr. Jonas Schulte

Jonas has been working in the field of wind energy research for more than ten years. He joined the department of Wind Farm Planning and Operation at Fraunhofer IWES in 2011, where he is responsible for microscale wind farm modeling and numerical site assessment. In particular, Jonas is the main developer of the IWES toolchain for siting with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods and also for the IWES wind farm modeling and optimization software FOXES. His current focus is on uncertainty estimations.
