The emissions right procedure contains 7 steps.

1 Project check

Project check means: determine whether the project meets the conditions for an emissions project.

3 criteria must be examined.

  • Greenhouse gas emissions are avoided

- The financial additionality is fulfilled

- Is a methodology for the project type available


2 Project design document

3 Validation of the project by a DNA

4 Letter or Approval

5 Final determination

6 Project registration

7 Verification of emissions reductions
