RESIN project

The RESIN project [1] gives the following definition:

A metric characterizing the vulnerability of a system. A climate vulnerability index is typically derived by combining, with or without weighting, several indicators assumed to represent vulnerability [2]



Discussion Topic

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report changes from a vulnerability based framework to a risk based framework. Vulnerability is considered to be comprised of Sensitivity and Adaptive Capacity
