European Definitions

2009/72/EC
Distribution means the transport of electricity on high-voltage, medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems with a view to its delivery to customers, but does not include supply. [1]


ENTSO-E
Distribution means the transport of electricity on high-voltage, medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems with a view to its delivery to customers, but does not include supply. [1]


ENTSOG
Distribution means the transport of natural gas through local or regional pipeline networks with a view to its delivery to customers, but not including supply. [2]

Austria

„Verteilung“ den Transport von Elektrizität mit hoher, mittlerer oder niedriger Spannung über Verteilernetze zum Zwecke der Belieferung von Kunden, jedoch mit Ausnahme der Versorgung. [3]



Belgium

Distributie: transport van elektriciteit langs hoog-, middenen laagspanningsdistributiesystemen met het oog op de belevering aan afnemers, de levering zelf niet inbegrepen. [4]

Bulgaria

Cyprus

«διανομή»: η μεταφορά ηλεκτρικής ενεργείας μέσω συστημάτων διανομής υψηλής, μεσαίας και χαμηλής τάσης με σκοπό την παράδοσή της σε πελάτες, μη συμπεριλαμβανομένης όμως της προμήθειας. [8]



Czech Republic

„distribucí“ přenos elektřiny distribuční soustavou vysokého, středního a nízkého napětí za účelem jejích dodávek zákazníkům, avšak s vyloučením dodávek samotných. [9]



Denmark

»distribution«: transport af elektricitet via høj-, mellem- og lavspændingsdistributionssystemer med henblik på levering af elektricitet til kunder, men ikke forsyning. [10]



Ecuador

Distribución: Incluye el transporte de electricidad de bajo voltaje (generalmente entre 120 Volt. y 34.500 Volt) y la actividad de suministro de la electricidad hasta los consumidores finales. [11]

Romania

„distribuţie” înseamnă transportul de energie electrică în reţele de distribuţie de înaltă, medie și joasă tensiune, în vederea livrării energiei electrice către clienţi, dar fără a include și furnizarea. [29]



Slovakia

„distribúcia“ je preprava elektriny vo vysokonapäťových, strednonapäťových a nízkonapäťových distribučných sústavách s cieľom jej distribuovania odberateľom, nezahŕňa však dodávku. [30]



Slovenia

Spain
