2009/72/EC
Distribution means the transport of electricity on high-voltage, medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems with a view to its delivery to customers, but does not include supply. [1]



Standard Definition

ISO/IEC TR 27019:2013

[For the Energy sector] the transport of electrical energy of high, medium or low voltage over a distribution grid or the transport of gas or heat over local or regional distribution networks[2].
