ECA
Cyber defence: A subset of cybersecurity aiming to defend cyberspace with military and other appropriate means in order to achieve military-strategic goals. [1]
[BG] Киберотбрана: Подкатегория на киберсигурността, насочена към защита на киберпространството с военни и други подходящи средства с цел постигане на стратегически военни цели.
[CS] Kybernetická obrana: Podskupina kybernetické bezpečnosti, jejímž cílem je obrana kyberprostoru pomocí vojenských a jiných vhodných prostředků za účelem dosažení vojensko-strategických cílů.

International Definitions
Cyber defence is dealt with in two paragraphs of the Warsaw Summit Communiqué, paragraphs 70 and 71: cyber defence is part of NATO’s core task of collective defence’, and that NATO is ready for the Allies to invoke collective defence in response to a significant cyberattack, the equivalent of an armed attack through cyberspace. Cyber defense is all about giving an entity the ability to thwart cyber attacks on the go through cyber security. It involves all processes and practices that will defend a network, its data, and nodes from unauthorized access or manipulation. [3]
