CIPRNet project
The CIPRNet project [1] uses the following definition:
A (network) component is an object in a CI Model, e.g. a generator, a pump, a transmission line, a physical transport, a node, a substation. Components have attributes and user-specified behaviour.
DIESIS project
The DIESIS project [2] gives the following definition:
